Jupiter and Neptune step up for the last round of the dance they have been performing most of the year. Over the next few nights they will pass about half a degree from each other, about the same width as the full Moon. This is easily close enough to be seen in the same low power telescope view.

On the 20th the pair will be very easy to find, just look for a nice crescent Moon 5° west. The next night pair will be close, only 32' apart, with the Moon still nearby in the sky. This should make nice viewing in the evening, get out your telescope or binoculars and enjoy.
