In the first weeks of March the planet Venus will begin rising into the evening sky. After superior conjunction on January 11th, the planet is again emerging from the Sun's glare. Over the next few months Venus will grace the evening sky and participate in some spectacular conjunctions, spending much of 2010 at the evening "star".
In October, Venus will again disappear from view, passing through inferior conjunction on October 29th and ending the year in the morning sky.
