2009 Monthly Visitors

It continually amazes me that so many of you stop by to read Darker View. Looking back at the 2009 statistics shows an average of six to seven thousand visits a month, with November peaking out at over twelve thousand. While many of those are search engine hits of people who may read one article and leave, I also seem to have a few regulars. To those folks I can only say "thanks!" and hope you continue to find this blog worth reading.

I have every reason to continue Darker View into the next year. Indeed, there are currently over 120 posts ready and scheduled for 2010, mostly the astronomical events for Hawai'i.

The year looks be be an interesting one at the summit of Mauna Kea as well, finishing up some ongoing projects and a couple new projects waiting for the time to do them. I also have a few more substansive articles sitting about in draft form that I really need to finish. Another new year's resolution?

Congrats to you Andrew...it's nice to know your hard work is of interest to others...A Darker View is one of my daily stops here in cyber-space...always refreshing and I also learn something...good job!

One of my daily stops also! (Sometimes catching up after the fact when I take a computer breather.) Always entertaining and/or educational. Your hard work is appreciated.
