Three years of driving the rough, steep road to the summit of Mauna Kea. I still enjoy the drive. Always changing, always beautiful, a drive through a stark landscape of rock and swirling clouds. So often our journey takes place in the low angled light of sunrise or sunset, creating a richness in the colors that is difficult to capture with a camera...
