Among the attachments available for my old Nikon 995 is a fisheye lens. Upon rediscovering this toy in the camera bag I knew I had to try a few photos in the Keck domes. This lens had been used in several other telescopes in Arizona, including the LBT. A telescope contained within the dome is tough to photograph, and it is difficult to capture the entire scene, much less the impressive feeling of size. A fisheye comes a little closer, but still fails to convey the right impression...
