Bright and obvious, about 8' in diameter, straddled by a pair of 10th magnitude stars about 2' either side of the galaxy center, brighter to the center without a notable core, some mottling in the halo, found 1° west of 51 Cam

Large! Bright, irregular with no obvious core, just a general brightening at the center, a darker zone around the core hints at the spiral structure, several involved foreground stars, several HII regions visible
