Manta ray (Manta birostris) cruises the reef at Garden Eel Cove
Manta ray (Manta birostris) cruises the reef at Garden Eel Cove. This particular manta is female known as Koie and has been in the area since at least 2001. The right cephalic fin was cut by fishing line in 2004. Many of the local mantas are well known and can be identified at the Manta Pacific Research Foundation website.
