  1. I was fortunate enough to catch a ride to the summit today to visit Subaru. The most snow I have ever seen. I found out that I need oxygen! A bit embarrassing, but it saved me! It is beautiful up there! You are indeed a lucky man to have a work place far removed from the pollutants I have had to endure throughout my career…Your pictures of the summit are more meaningful now that I have had a chance to experience it for a few hours…

    1. At nearly midnight last night I took a moment up on the roof between the domes. It was stunningly beautiful… A setting crescent moon, bright stars, no wind, covered in snow, just sublime. Yes, I do take a moment when I can to appreciate the beauty of the mountian.
