He just finished a four day observing run using Keck 2 with AO and <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.keck.hawaii.edu\/inst\/osiris\/\" target=\"_blank\">OSIRIS<\/a>, as well as gathering data with <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.keck.hawaii.edu\/koa\/public\/nspec\/nirspec_data_description.html\" target=\"_blank\">NIRSPEC<\/a>.  The target?  Among other things Mike and his team observed <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neptune\" target=\"_blank\">Neptune<\/a> and the large moon Triton.  <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Triton_%28moon%29\" target=\"_blank\">Triton<\/a> is thought to be a captured KBO (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kuiper_belt\" target=\"_blank\">Kuiper Belt Object<\/a>).
