{"id":14759,"date":"2015-01-08T16:15:19","date_gmt":"2015-01-09T02:15:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/darkerview.com\/wordpress\/?p=14759"},"modified":"2015-01-08T16:16:09","modified_gmt":"2015-01-09T02:16:09","slug":"back-on-sky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/darkerview.com\/wordpress\/?p=14759","title":{"rendered":"Back On-Sky"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The storm that deposited <a href=\"https:\/\/darkerview.com\/wordpress\/?p=14678\">a heavy layer of ice<\/a> on Mauna Kea has kept Keck Observatory shuttered for a week now.  The last night we observed was New Year&#8217;s Day.  Despite clear skies, there was just too much ice on the domes that could come crashing in on the telescope if we attempted to open.
