Several hours shooing at the heart of the Virgo cluster and Markarian&#8217;s Chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was shooting color data, but clouds rolled through the field before I got any blue data.  Will have to shoot again another evening.  In the meantime I put together a monochrome version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two big elliptical galaxies towards the lower right are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkerview.com\/scripts\/query.php?M84\">M84<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkerview.com\/scripts\/query.php?M86\">M86<\/a>.  In the center is an interacting spiral galaxy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkerview.com\/scripts\/query.php?NGC4438\">NGC4438<\/a>, notably distorted through interaction with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkerview.com\/scripts\/query.php?NGC4435\">NGC4435<\/a> seen right above it.
