Keck Observatory seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work under the direction of the TSD Senior Engineer to provide mechanical engineering and project management support, to develop new observatory capabilities and to upgrade existing observatory systems. This position is responsible for design, analysis, specification, and construction of high technology mechanical and opto-mechanical systems for precision telescope operations.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_194\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-194\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/darkerview.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=194\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-194\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/darkerview.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/CD08-52-01001-DM-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Segment Crane\" title=\"Segment Crane\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-194\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-194\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">the segment crane being lowered into place to remove a segment from a primary mirror<\/figcaption><\/figure>Qualifications for this position are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B. S.
