Here at Keck we will be participating in a <a href=\"http:\/\/earthsky.org\/science-wire\/scientists-organize-groundbreaking-saturn-observational-campaign\" target=\"_blank\">campaign to observe Saturn&#8217;s auroras<\/a>. Image credit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/cassini\/multimedia\/pia13402.html\" target=\"_blank\">NASA\/JPL\/University of Arizona\/University of Leicester<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><strong>Sunday April 21st<\/strong><br \/>\n3am-5am Hawai&#8217;i Standard Time<br \/>\n6am-8am Pacific Daylight Time<br \/>\n9am-11am Eastern Daylight Time<br \/>\n1pm-3pm UT<\/p>\n<p>You can join the webcast on UStream at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ustream.tv\/channel\/live-from-keck-observatory\" target=\"_blank\">Live from Keck Observatory channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A number of telescopes are involved with these observations including NASA&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/hubble\/main\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Hubble Space Telescope<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/saturn.jpl.nasa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cassini spacecraft<\/a> in orbit around Saturn, the ESO <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/teles-instr\/vlt.html\" target=\"_blank\">Very Large Telescope<\/a> (VLT) in Chile, and NASA&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/irtfweb.ifa.hawaii.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">IRTF telescope<\/a> here on Mauna Kea.<\/p>\n<p>At Keck the team of astronomers have five half night&#8217;s of observing on Keck 2 using the NIRSPEC spectrograph.
