Thank you. You helped me fix a used Wii board I just bought from someone. I couldn’t get it to sync but was getting power (I had a feeling it was the sync button). The battery compartment looked clean but once I opened it up, I could see all the corrosion. It just took a little cleaning (I used hydrogen peroxide and q-tips) and now I’m in business.
Thank you for your instruction. I have a pretty nice board from someone else, battery circuit badly died but the motherboard is still quite new and clean. Will try to follow your trick.
Acording to your picture, Are Blue and White wire solder togheter? and Grey wire to black one ?
All of the wires are separate and have their own pads. Though I admit the photo does not make that clear.
