The SkyFi to iOptron serial cable pinout. The cable uses a 4P handset connector on the IOptron handbox end and a 6P modular connector on the SkyFi end. Four conductor flat telcom cable is then used to make the cable. One wire must be crossed over on the otherwise flat cables setup, this is best done in the 6P connector. Trim the red wire about 3mm (1/8in) longer than the remaining wires. The red wire can then be crossed over the yellow wire while slid into the connector and crimped. The color code and order shown is also from telcom standards.
